The Seahawks and Patriots will face off in Super Bowl 60 at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 8. These franchises faced off in Super Bowl 49 during the 2014 NFL season—New England won that matchup with the infamous Malcolm Butler interception.
Seattle is a 4.5-point favorite and -238 on the moneyline, while New England is +195 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 45.5 points.
Here are my top Cooper Kupp prop bets for the Seahawks vs. Patriots Super Bowl matchup on Sunday, Feb. 8.
Best Cooper Kupp Prop Bets
Cooper Kupp isn’t the same No. 1 option that he once was, but he’s still an effective member of Seattle’s offense. The veteran wideout recorded 593 receiving yards and two touchdowns on 47 receptions in 16 games this season.
He had standout performances during the regular season, but he was mostly used as a reliable secondary option in the pass game. Because of his experience, his role has increased in the postseason. Kupp caught all five of his targets for 60 yards against the 49ers and four of six targets for 36 yards vs. the Rams.
While the Patriots have a strong defense, they’ll be focusing on Jaxon Smith-Njigba. He’s one of the best receivers in the NFL, so it would be wise not to let him get hot in the Super Bowl. That’ll force Sam Darnold to look Kupp’s way more often.
Additionally, Kupp has Super Bowl experience. He won Super Bowl MVP with the Rams just a few years ago. Will he win MVP again? Probably not, but he can definitely be a key contributor to the Seahawks’ offense on Sunday.
His receptions line is set at over/under 3.5. The over is listed at +134, which is great value considering the aforementioned factors.
