Here are the odds for taking home the gold medal in women’s curling:

It’s no surprise to see these top favorites once again. Canada has been one of the preeminent women’s curling teams since the sport came back to the Olympics in 1998, netting two gold medals, a silver, and two bronze medals. After being held off the podium in the 2018 and 2022 competitions, they’re looking to come back with a vengeance. Switzerland hasn’t medaled since 2006, but is a strong entrant. Sweden’s team has been on the podium in each of the last five Winter Olympics, securing three golds, a silver, and a bronze.
Great Britain have long odds to repeat as gold medalists. Their dramatic 2022 upset win over Sweden led to a gold over Japan, but lightning may not strike a second time. They’re tied with Team USA for the second-longest odds behind the host nation Italy.

Matches will begin at the Cortina Olympic Stadium on February 12th. Mark your calendars!
