Winners of four straight, Tyrese Maxey’s Philadelphia 76ers continue a West Coast road trip in tonight’s NBA late slate. The Golden State Warriors are still reeling while adjusting to life without Jimmy Butler, and unfortunately, Steph Curry is also sidelined tonight. Still, the show must go on.

Moses Moody over 2.5 made threes (+111)
Finding offense tonight without Butler and Curry may prove difficult for Golden State, but the team does have a couple of other intriguing pieces. One player to keep an eye on is Moses Moody, the fifth-year wing in the midst of a career-best season. The 6-foot-5 23-year-old averages 11.2 PPG while shooting an efficient 40.4% from three-point range, taking an average of 5.8 attempts. While he’s no star, he does play a key role for this Warriors team and has largely played quite well as of late. Moody has now knocked down at least three shots from beyond the arc in four of his last five contests and eight of his last 10 as well.
Most of his shot diet comes from three-point range, so the outlook for Moody hitting another three attempts tonight looks quite good with Curry sidelined. It’s not a massive bump, but Moody’s overall shot volume increases by 1.5 attempts per game when Curry doesn’t play. He also took 12 total shots in the last game Curry missed, as well as 12 in the one before it as well. While the 76ers do rank 11th in opponent 3PA and ninth in opponent 3P%, I still like Moody to keep this shooting streak rolling tonight given a possible bump in offensive responsibilities.
Andre Drummond over 9.5 rebounds (+102)
There’s no Embiid for the Sixers tonight, but that doesn’t mean they’ll struggle on the boards. Andre Drummond has played well in a bench role with 6.8 points and 8.7 rebounds per game this season, also showing an increased willingness to take the occasional three-pointer. While he’s not what he was in his heyday with the Detroit Pistons years ago, the big man is still a productive role player who knows exactly what his job is. Better yet, he’s served as excellent Embiid insurance when the star big man misses time. Across 20 games with the former MVP sidelined, Drummond posts 8.5 points and 10.7 rebounds a night. That’s a two-board bump from his typical average, which is what we’ll target here.
So far, Drummond has pulled down double-digit boards in 12/20 games without Embiid, good for a 60% hit rate. That in its own right makes this an excellent choice for player props bets tonight, but I like this pick for another reason as well. The Warriors rank 21st in REB% at 49.1%, and while Al Horford and Quentin Post have each spent time at center recently, Drummond still has the advantage over both on the glass. He should get over 9.5 boards here as the starting five.
