The WM Phoenix Open will be played at the Stadium Course (par 71, 7,261 yards, poa trivialis/bentgrass/ryegrass overseed greens) of TPC Scottsdale, which has been the home of the WM Phoenix Open since 1987. Thomas Detry (-24) won this event by seven shots last season and for this week, there will be 121 players competing and a top-65 and ties cut after the first two rounds.

Sahith Theegala ($8,400)
After a disappointing 2025 season, Theegala isn’t guaranteed status for 2027. The former top-12 ranked player needs to have a big bounce-back campaign in 2026 and he is off to a great start. In his first three starts this season, Theegala has improved at each event, finishing T-31, T-8 and T-7. That final finish came at the Farmers Insurance Open this past week and Theegala posted a pair of 6-under 66s, including one at the South Course of Torrey Pines for the final round. Theegala gained strokes with both his irons and putter at this event, and he has now finished T-31 or better in five of his last seven starts.
Theegala ranks ninth in total strokes gained when we compare this field’s last 24 rounds and his resume at TPC Scottsdale is compelling. Theegala has made 4-for-4 cuts at the par 71, including two top-five finishes. The 28-year-old ranks eighth among this field in strokes gained per round at TPC Scottsdale and Theegala is a stellar option at this $8,400 salary.
Pierceson Coody ($8,000)
Coody is playing the best golf of his career right now. The former Texas Longhorn has made 11 consecutive cuts with seven top-25 finishes. His best finish during this run came just last week, when he finished runner-up at the Farmers Insurance Open. Coody carded a 7-under 65 at the South Course in the final round and he gained strokes across the board at Torrey Pines. Most notably, he gained a field-best 1.46 strokes OTT, which is a great sign for the driver-heavy design of TPC Scottsdale.
Coody’s game sets up well for this track and he should have a strong Phoenix Open debut this week. When we compare this field’s last 24 rounds, Coody ranks fifth in total strokes gained.
Christiaan Bezuidenhout ($7,400)
Any time Bezuidenhout is priced under $8,000, he is a tough play to ignore, especially this week. At TPC Scottsdale the last two years, the South African has finished T-28 and T-4. Bezuidenhout carded a pair of 5-under 66s at the par 71 last season and he has only shot over par once in his eight rounds at TPC Scottsdale the last two years.
Bezuidenhout now returns to TPC Scottsdale riding a 12-made cut streak. Including a T-27 at last week’s Farmers Insurance Open, Bezuidenhout has finished inside the top-30 seven times during this stretch. The 31-year-old has shot under par in 15 straight rounds and is an awesome option for all formats this week.
