How to enter a free Super Bowl 2026 squares contest on DraftKings

DraftKings Sportsbook is all over Super Bowl LX, as the Patriots and Seahawks get ready to battle it out for the NFL Championship this Sunday. DraftKings has many fun ways to get in on the action this year, and one free way to get a chance at big prizes is by claiming your free square in the Wrangler Big Game Squares. If you have a DraftKings account, you can enter this contest for free and get four chances to win. Here’s how it works.

Follow the link above or click on the Wrangler Big Game Squares promo anywhere on the site. Click “Play Now” and then you’ll have the chance to pick your square from the grid below:

Once you pick a square it will be your square for all four chances to win. There will be prizes awarded at the end of each of the first three quarters and a final prize at the end of the game.

At the start of the Super Bowl, numbers will be randomly assigned for the rows and columns. Since numbers will be randomly assigned 0-9 in each direction, how “good” or “bad” a square is will be unknown until the numbers are assigned. The only strategy to consider in square selection is to attempt to select a square that fewer people will choose.

Once numbers have been randomly assigned, you can check back in the contest to see what numbers have been assigned to your square and  how many other entrants are on your square. You can also see your expected prize if you win each quarter!

So how do you win? If the final digit of both teams’ score matches the numbers for your square at the end of each of the first 3 quarters or full time, you win a cash prize.

For example, if you have Patriots-7 and Seahawks-0 (a nice combo, by the way), you win at the end of the first quarter if the Patriots’ score ends in seven and the Seahawks’ score ends in zero. If the Pats are ahead 7-0 at the end of the first quarter or the Hawks are ahead 10-7, you win! If the halftime score is 17-10 Patriots or 20-7 Seahawks, you win! The only numbers that matter are the final digit of both teams’ score, so for this contest 28-3 is the same as 28-43.

The winners of each quarter will divide the following prizes:

  • 1st Quarter – $10,000 Prize Pool
  • 2nd Quarter – $10,000 Prize Pool
  • 3rd Quarter – $10,000 Prize Pool
  • Full Time – $10,000 Prize Pool

Make sure to pick your square before kickoff this week, and be ready for a great Super Bowl Sunday!
