At Madison Square Garden, Shakur Stevenson defeated Teofimo Lopez by decision to win the WBO Super Lightweight Championship. At only 28 years old, Stevenson is now a four-division world champion. Stevenson improved to 25-0 and handed Lopez his second career loss and first since 2021.
Stevenson proved once again that he is one of the greatest pound-for-pound boxers in the world. He is the fastest to win four titles in four separate divisions.
