NBA Best Bets: Timberwolves vs. Grizzlies Best Prop Bets for Saturday 1/31/26

On Saturday night, the NBA has five games on the scoreboard to close out January. In one Western Conference matchup, the Minnesota Timberwolves are traveling to the FedExForum to take on the Memphis Grizzlies. The Grizzlies are playing for the second day in a row and have a lengthy injury report, but there are still some solid options from the player prop bets market to consider from both sides of this matchup. These best bets can be used as standalone plays or combined in a Same Game Parlay (SGP), as indicated at the bottom of the post.

In the bigger picture of this game, the Timberwolves are heavy 10.5-point road favorites with the point total set at 229.5. The two teams last met on Dec. 17, with the Grizzlies winning 116-110. In this rematch, the Timberwolves look to get some revenge and pick up a fourth straight win.

Minnesota has climbed to the No. 7 spot in the Western Conference, but the teams ranked from No. 4 to No. 7 are all separated by just one half-game in a very tight race. The Timberwolves at 30-19 are 10.5 games ahead of the Grizzlies at 18-28, which has the latter currently in the No. 12 spot in the conference race.

Let’s take a closer look at this contest and break down my top prop bets from the Timberwolves and Grizzlies on Saturday.

Timberwolves at Grizzlies Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Anthony Edwards O3.5 3PM (+127)

With the Grizzlies so shorthanded (more below), Edwards and the Timberwolves should be able to get whatever shots they focus on early in the game. Edwards’ points, rebounds, assists and combos are a little difficult to back since he could get fewer minutes in a blowout, but one stat that will be less impacted by the game scenario is his 3PM (three-pointers made).

Edwards’ 3PM comes at plus money to hit at least four three-pointers, and he reached that mark on Thursday by going 4-for-10 from long range in a big win against the Thunder. He’s averaging 3.5 3PM on the season and become much more aggressive from distance in the last two seasons to try and expand his offensive game.

He has at least four 3PM in eight of his last 11 games, and even if he doesn’t play his full complement of minutes, he has a good chance to get enough opportunities to hit four triples and deliver on this high-value prop Saturday night.

Jock Landale O23.5 Points + Rebounds (-122)

The Grizzlies listed Santi Aldama and Ja Morant as out, and Jaren Jackson Jr. and John Konchar are doubtful. With those absences, Landale will have to take on a much heavier workload against Rudy Gobert and Julius Randle since the Timberwolves typically play bigger lineups.

Landale has been stepping up with Zach Edey out and has gone over this prop line of combined points and rebounds four times in his last seven games. The 30-year-old Australian is averaging 13.4 points and 8.4 rebounds in 27.3 minutes per game over his last 11 games. Jackson has played all 11 of those games as well.

He had 35 combined points and rebounds against the Pelicans last Friday before falling short of this prop line in his last two games, when Jaren Jackson Jr. did more of the work. If JJJ is out as expected, Landale will have a good chance to get over this prop line with the extra work available.

Julius Randle U11.5 Rebounds + Assists (-110)

Randle has been a regular in my Timberwolves props this season since he has typically been so productive, especially in the stretch without Edwards. In this matchup, though, I think Minnesota may try to get some rest for the big man and he’ll end up under this combined rebounds and assists prop line.

Randle has under 12 rebounds plus assists in seven of his last eight games, with 13 against the Bulls in his only exception during that stretch. He only had 10 rebounds and assists against the Thunder, and even when he went off for 31 points in the Wolves’ win in Dallas earlier this week, he only had nine rebounds and assists.

He’s averaging 12.2 rebounds and assists per game this season, but since I’m not sure the Grizzlies can keep this close, I think Randle will end up under this prop Saturday.

Bonus Parlay Pick: Jaden McDaniels O13.5 Points (-120)

If you’re building an SGP (Same Game Parlay) from this Minnesota-Memphis matchup, adding in McDaniels’ scoring over takes the combined odds to a hefty +1300, as you can see below.

McDaniels has scored at least 14 points in seven of his last nine games and always seems to log big minutes regardless of game situation. He had 21 points in 31 minutes against the Thunder, and when the Timberwolves get their offense going well, McDaniels has a very high ceiling. He also has a high floor since he gets so many minutes, so I think he’ll get to 14 points against the injury-depleted Grizzlies.
