In their last three league games, the Gunners have drawn with Liverpool and Nottingham Forest before losing to Man United. I think that slump comes to an end on Saturday against a newly promoted side who sit 16th in the table. Leeds have done well to be six points clear of the drop zone at this stage, but Arsenal presents the toughest challenge in the league this season.
When these teams matched up earlier in the season at the Emirates Stadium, the Gunners came out on top with a dominant 5-0 victory. Going back to 2021, Arsenal have won all five of their previous meetings with Leeds and two or more goals have been scored in four of those matchups. In fact, you have to go all the way back to 2003 to find the last time that Leeds defeated Arsenal in any competition.
The Gunners have scored the second-most goals in the league so far this season, while Leeds have conceded the fifth-most. There are goals to be had in this one, and ultimately, Arsenal should collect the points and get their season back on track.
