It was announced on Wednesday that former Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury is making his return against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11 in the United Kingdom. This fight will air live on Netflix and will be the fifth boxing event on the platform. Currently, a venue for this event has yet to be announced. Fury, 37, is 34-2-1 with 24 knockouts in his boxing career, but hasn’t fought since his previous loss to Oleksandr Usyk in December 2024. Makhmudov is 36 years old with a record of 21-2 with 19 coming by knockout.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, Fury is a -600 favorite with Makhmudov being the underdog at +400.

Fury is a former WBC, WBO, IBF, and IBO Heavyweight Champion and is already an all-time great in the sport. In 2024, Fury suffered back-to-back defeats to Usyk, with his last victory coming against Francis Ngannou in October 2023. Fury’s previous three fights took place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, but now he is returning home to the UK. His last fight in the UK came against Derek Chisora in December 2022.

Just like Fury, Makhmudov is a big power puncher with five of his previous six wins coming by knockout. Makhmudov’s last win was against David Allen in October 2025, and he is currently on a two-fight winning streak. In his career, Makhmudov has lost to Agit Kabayel and Guido Vianello.
