Best NHL props for Thursday 1/29/26

Morgan Geekie Anytime Goalscorer (+165)

Geekie has netted at least one goal in four of his past five outings. Among skaters with 200+ minutes of ice time, he ranks first in goals above expected and second in goals per 60. Tonight, he will face a Flyers team that has surrendered at least five goals in seven of its past 10 outings. The Bruins are 10-2-1 since the new year, while averaging 3.8 goals per game, and Geekie should have few issues in finding the back of the net against a poor goaltending team operating on zero days’ rest.

Cutter Gauthier 4+ Shots on Goal (+100)

Gauthier draws an elite matchup tonight against the Canucks, and he ranks first in the NHL in 5v5 shot attempts per 60 and second in 5v5 shots per 60. The Canucks have allowed the fourth-most shots per game, and the Ducks rank fourth in shots per game. Gauthier recorded just one shot in his most recent meeting against Vancouver on Nov. 26; however, he has cleared this mark in six of his past eight outings, while averaging 6.3 shot attempts per game.

Ryan McLeod 1+ Point (+105)

McLeod has four points in his past three outings, while sharing the second line with Jason Zucker and Jack Quinn. That line has played 19 games together this season and produced a 53.7% xGoals% and the most goals (14) by any Sabres’ forward lines. Across the last 10 games, McLeod ranks third on the team in 5v5 points per 60. Buffalo has averaged 3.68 goals per game at home this season, and McLeod has produced nine points across the club’s past 10 games at the KeyBank Center.
