It’s been a terrific stretch for the Clippers (21-24), winners in 15 of their last 18 games. On Tuesday, Los Angeles will hope to keep up its recent success on the road. Standing in the way is Utah (15-31), one of the NBA’s worst clubs. With that being said, the Jazz know how to put up points. That could lead to some impressive individual performances tonight.

John Collins 2+ three-pointers made (-120)
One of the more underrated players on Los Angeles’ roster is John Collins. Acquired last summer from Utah, the power forward has been solid, if not spectacular, for the Clippers. This season, he’s averaging 13.4 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. In addition, he’s shooting nearly 56% from the field. As a secondary scoring option behind Kawhi Leonard and James Harden, Collins’ workload can vary. Still, the ninth-year pro is someone that the Jazz need to keep an eye on tonight.
Perhaps the most slept-on feature of Collins’ game is his three-point shooting. The veteran is knocking down a career-best 43% of his attempts from beyond the arc. That bodes well against most teams, especially a miserable Jazz defense. Utah is giving up the most three-pointers made per game (15.8) to opponents this season. In comparison, Collins has tallied at least two 3PM in seven of his previous ten appearances. There’s no reason to think he can’t reach that total yet again on Tuesday.
Isaiah Collier 25+ points + assists + rebounds (-115)
In fairness to Utah, injuries have been prevalent across this roster. That’s the case yet again tonight, with point guard Keyonte George (rest) being held out. If anyone stands to benefit from his absence, it’s Isaiah Collier. The USC alum is a flawed player, especially when it comes to shot IQ. However, his all-around production is fairly impressive. This season, the guard has notched 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 6.6 assists per game. He’s put those numbers up despite logging just over 23 minutes a night.
On Tuesday, Collier will get a chance to orchestrate a fairly potent Jazz offense. It helps that leading scorer Lauri Markkanen, initially listed as questionable, will take the floor. When these teams last met, on January 1st, the guard racked up 16 points, six rebounds and ten assists. In addition, George wasn’t on the floor for that matchup. Collier has had 15 games this season with at least 25 minutes of playing time; he’s reached tonight’s PRA total in nine of those outings. Something similar is more than likely on Tuesday.
