UPDATE: Anthony Edwards has been ruled out tonight due to injury maintenance, per Timberwolves PR.
The Minnesota Timberwolves look to snap a five-game losing streak on Monday night as they host the Golden State Warriors for the second consecutive game.
The Wolves (27–19, 7th West) have been ice-cold during their recent skid, highlighted by Sunday’s 111–85 loss at home against the understaffed Warriors (26–21, 8th West). But even in defeat, star guard Anthony Edwards still managed to shine.
Tipoff is set for 9:30 p.m. ET. Minnesota enters as a 10.5-point home favorite, while Golden State sits as a +330 underdog. The game’s total is set at 227.5 points.
Ahead of Monday night’s contest, here’s my favorite Anthony Edwards prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Best Anthony Edwards prop bet for Warriors vs. Timberwolves
Best Bet: Anthony Edwards 4+ Threes (+106)
Anthony Edwards has a strong case for being the biggest snub of the NBA’s All-Star starters. The former first overall pick is averaging 29.7 points, the fifth-most in the league, along with 5.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.
Just one season removed from leading the NBA in made threes (320), Edwards is knocking down 3.5 triples per night at a career-high 41% clip. He’s buried four or more treys in 19 games this season, tied with teammate Donte DiVincenzo for the sixth-most in the league.
As if sticking to a new year’s resolution, Edwards has leveled up his perimeter production since the calendar flipped to 2026. He’s averaging 4.1 threes on 44.1% efficiency and has hit at least four threes in seven of ten outings.
He nailed nine triples against the Spurs on Jan. 17 before going 4-for-7 from deep in Sunday’s loss to the Warriors.
Edwards seems poised to keep it rolling on Monday against the short-handed Golden State squad. Already without Jimmy Butler, who suffered a season-ending ACL tear last week, Golden State will also be missing defensive anchor Draymond Green due to back soreness.
Expect the face of the Timberwolves to exploit a thinly stretched Warriors defense and knock down at least four triples for the second straight night.
