The Broncos and Patriots face off in the AFC Championship at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, Jan. 25.
New England is a 4.5-point favorite and -238 on the moneyline, while Denver is +195 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 42.5 points.
Here are my top TreVeyon Henderson prop bets for the Patriots vs. Broncos AFC Championship matchup on Sunday.
Best TreVeyon Henderson Prop Bets
Henderson nearly reached 1,000 rushing yards as a rookie despite splitting time in the backfield with Rhamondre Stevenson. He did so averaging 5.1 yards per carry, which is tied with Bijan Robinson and Blake Corum. Josh Allen, James Cook and Derrick Henry finished with 5.2, while De’Von Achane had 5.7.
The rookie is in elite company already, but he struggled in his first two playoff games. He ran for 27 yards on nine carries vs. the Chargers and 25 yards on 12 carries vs. the Texans. Both squads feature strong run defenses, but that didn’t slow Stevenson down. The veteran back ran for 53 yards on 10 carries vs. the Chargers and 70 yards on 16 carries vs. the Texans.
The AFC Championship is going to be just as difficult for rushers, as Denver features one of the best run stop units in the NFL. The Broncos allow the second fewest rushing yards, third fewest yards per carry and attempts, and fourth fewest rushing touchdowns.
It’s already an uphill battle since Stevenson started the first two playoff games, but a stout defense will only make it more challenging for Henderson. It’s likely he falls under his 36.5 rushing yards prop line in this matchup.
