NFL Best Bets: Top Kayshon Boutte Prop Bets for the AFC Championship Game

The AFC Championship Game between the Patriots and Broncos kicks off at 3:00 p.m. ET in Denver.

New England is a 3.5-point favorite and is -205 on the Moneyline, while Denver is +170 to win outright on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 42.5 points.

Here are my top Kayshon Boutte prop bets for the AFC Championship Game.

Best Kayshon Boutte Prop Bets

Kayshon Boutte has played a big role in the postseason so far for the Patriots. Boutte was the deep threat for the team all season and led the team in yards per catch among players with at least 20 receptions. He ranked fifth on the team in receptions, but third on the team in receiving yards because of the number of deep balls that he caught. Against the Chargers in the Wild Card, Boutte had four catches for 66 yards. Then, against the Texans, he had three catches for 75 yards and a spectacular touchdown. As a deep-ball threat, Boutte plays a critical role for Drake Maye, but he has always been a boom-or-bust player.

My favorite Kayshon Boutte player prop is for him to have under 2.5 receptions. This Denver defense is one of the best in the league, having led the NFL in defensive dropback success rate during the regular season. The Broncos are good at taking away the deep shot, ranking fifth in the NFL in 20+ yard catches allowed. Boutte will either have to go up against Patrick Surtain II or Riley Moss in this game.

Surtain II is the best cover corner in the game. In 609 coverage snaps this season, he only gave up one 20+ yard catch, and that came on a shorter route after which the receiver broke a couple of tackles for a long gain. Surtain should completely take away Boutte when across from each other. When Boutte faces Riley Moss, Moss can match up with him as well. If Boutte ever beats Moss, he will take a penalty before giving up a long catch. The cornerback leads the NFL in defensive pass interference penalties this season. There is a chance that Boutte hits another deep ball or two in this game, but he should stay under 2.5 receptions against this elite secondary.

Best Bet: Kayshon Boutte u2.5 Receptions (-144)
