The second event of the PGA TOUR season will wrap up on Sunday, January 25. After a cut following the third round, the top 73 golfers will play the Final Round at the Pete Dye Stadium Course. While it isn’t a Signature Event, there’s still a big purse on the line.
Si Woo Kim starts the day at -22 with a one-shot lead atop the leaderboard over World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler and 18-year-old Blades Brown. Eric Cole and Wyndham Clark start the day one stroke further back at -20. The American Express awards a $9.2 million total purse, with $1.656 million going to the winner.
Here’s how the top-25 finishers will be paid at the conclusion of the tournament in La Quinta, California. Ties will evenly divide the total purse among the included positions. For example, a four-way tie for fourth would result in the total purse for fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh evenly divided between the four players.
