NBA Best Bets: Knicks at 76ers Prop Bets for Saturday 1/24/26

On Saturday, ABC has a strong NBA tripleheader to highlight a full day of hoops across the country. The first of the three games is an Eastern Conference showdown between the New York Knicks and the Philadelphia 76ers at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in the City of Brotherly Love. It’s a fun rivalry game to start the day’s national TV coverage, and it should be a very solid matchup with plenty of star power. Let’s dive into the matchup and find some solid player prop bets to consider to start out the day. You can utilize these picks as standalone plays or group them in a Same Game Parlay (SGP), as indicated at the bottom of the post.

In the bigger picture, the 76ers are slight 1.5-point home favorites on DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total at 227.5.

The Knicks are 26-18 at No. 4 in the Eastern Conference, while the Sixers are 24-19 at No. 6 in the conference. However, the Knicks are only 8-12 on the road and have dropped nine of their last 12. They did get a huge win over the Nets on Wednesday, though, winning 120-66. The 76ers also won their last game, defeating the Rockets, 128-122 in overtime on Thursday.

On the injury report, Karl-Anthony Towns is questionable, while Joel Embiid, Paul George and Kelly Oubre Jr. are all probable for the Sixers.

Let’s dive into this juicy matchup between playoff contenders and find a few strong player prop bets to back this Saturday afternoon.

76ers vs. Knicks Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

Joel Embiid over 26.5 points (-105)

Embiid has been getting more minutes for the Sixers lately and reminding everyone of how good he can be when healthy. On Thursday, he played a massive 46 minutes against the Rockets and went off for 32 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

While he isn’t likely to log that many minutes again on Saturday, the team seems ready to let the big dog eat. He has been excellent when given minutes this season, and he’s averaging 24.5 points per game only because his minutes have been watched so carefully.

He has gone over this prop line in three straight games and in six of his last eight games. When he faced the Knicks at the start of this month, he had 26 points in 33 minutes, but with all his recent momentum, he should be able to get over this prop line, especially since this game is at home for him and the Knicks could be without Towns.

In his last 14 games against the Knicks, Embiid has gone over this prop line 11 times, and I’m ready to back the big man for another solid showing in the spotlight on Saturday.

Miles McBride over 2.5 3PM (+121)

McBride is averaging 3.0 3PM (three-pointers made) on the season and has gone over this prop in three of his last four games, nine of his last 12, and 15 of his last 20.

His playing time has dipped a little bit with the return of Jalen Brunson for the last two games, but he only needed 19 minutes to hit three three-pointers on Wednesday against the Nets. He likely would have played more minutes if the game had been close.

On the season, McBride is averaging just under seven three-point attempts per game, and he’s shooting a solid 43.7%. He had five 3PM in his first matchup with the Sixers this season.

McBride could get more minutes if the Knicks end up going smaller with Towns out or limited. I like this prop at plus-money either way, but without Towns, even more work would be available for McBride.

VJ Edgecombe over 8.5 Rebounds + Assists (-140)

The Sixers continue to get great play from the No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft. Edgecombe is averaging 15.6 points, 5.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game while playing 35.9 minutes in his 39 contests, all starts.

Edgecombe’s scoring production has been a little erratic, with 25 points against the Suns on Tuesday but only nine points against the Rockets on Thursday. His non-scoring production has been much more consistent, though, which is why I prefer to target his rebounds and assists combo.

He’s averaging 9.5 rebounds plus assists on the season, and he has gone over this prop line in six of his last 10 games. He had just six rebounds plus assists in his first game against the Knicks in New York, but in his 21 home games, he’s averaging 9.9 rebounds and assists, so I’m confident he can get to at least nine in this Saturday afternoon spotlight matchup with the rest of the 76ers’ rotation mostly healthy around him.

Bonus Parlay Pick: Mikal Bridges under 4.5 Assists (-125)

If you’re building an SGP (Same Game Parlay) for this Saturday afternoon matinee, adding in the under on Bridges’ assists takes it to a spicy +1100, as you can see below. If you want to mix in picks from other games, you can also build a strong SGPx with these core plays.

Bridges has handed out four assists or fewer in five straight games and in six of his last nine. With Brunson back, he’s not as involved as a creator, and this is one of the Knicks props that isn’t very impacted by KAT’s status either way.
