UPDATE: Gordon will not return.
With 31.3 seconds left in the second quarter of Friday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Aaron Gordon grabbed a defensive rebound then dribbled down the court. As he stepped over the halfcourt line, he looked to have tweaked his right hamstring. He is now questionable to return.
DaRon Holmes II started the second half for Gordon.
Prior to exiting, Gordon contributed 13 points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals in 16 minutes of action.
Gordon missed 19 games earlier in the year due to a right hamstring injury, so this re-aggravation is certainly concerning. If he’s out for an extended period of time, Holmes, Zeke Nnaji and possibly Tim Hardaway Jr. could see an uptick in playing time.
