Man City are winless in their last four Premier League games, and are coming into this game off the back of an embarrassing 3-1 loss to Bodø/Glimt in the Champions League.
On the flip side, Wolves are playing their best ball of the season. They are undefeated in five straight games in all competitions. They are still extremely far from safety in terms of points on the board in the Premier League, but the recent uptick in results is still a positive given how badly things were going for them before that.
Despite all of that, I am still taking Man City to win this one in front of their home crowd. Recent form can only sway me so far, because there are still 18 places between these sides in the table for a reason. Man City have the second-best defensive record in the division, while Wolves have scored the fewest goals.
The Citizens should win this one with ease, and a clean sheet should be easily obtainable, especially if new signing Marc Guéhi is able to make his club debut.
