Six weeks after John Cena retired at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December, the WWE is hosting another edition of the event on January 24 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This is WWE’s first premium live event in 2026 and is taking place one week before the Royal Rumble, which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on January 31.
So far, only three matches have been announced for the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event. The lone title match on the card is between Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez for the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Former champion Cody Rhodes is out for revenge against Jacob Fatu as they are facing each other in a singles match. The most significant match on this card is an Undisputed title No. 1 contender Fatal four-way match between Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Damian Priest vs. Sami Zayn.

Saturday Night’s Main Event Predictions and Full Card
Undisputed WWE Title No. 1 Contender’s Fatal 4-Way Match: Randy Orton vs. Trick Williams vs. Damian Priest vs. Sami Zayn
Since Drew McIntyre beat Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed title, many wrestlers have stepped up wanting to challenge the new champion. Now, Randy Orton, Trick Williams, Damian Priest, and Sami Zayn will face off in a fatal four-way match with the winner earning a title match at the Royal Rumble. Two members in this match, Orton and Priest, have already been World Champions in WWE.
Since entering SmackDown, Williams has been a fan favorite and has appeared dominant. But the wrestler in this match who needs the victory the most is Zayn. Zayn returns to home of Montreal and will have his hometown fans on his side on Saturday. Over the last few years, Zayn has repeatedly stated that the one thing missing from his career is becoming a world champion. Zayn winning this match and moving on to face McIntyre at the Royal Rumble would be an excellent moment for the fans in Montreal.

Singles Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Jacob Fatu
Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu have faced each other in four tag team matches in the past, but never one-on-one. Fatu interrupted the recent title match between Cody Rhodes and Drew McIntyre, costing Rhodes his championship. Last week, Rhodes and Fatu got into a fight, continuing their rivalry. With Fatu and Rhodes as two of the biggest WWE stars, a clean finish seems unlikely in this match. Since Rhodes recently lost his title, he needs the victory more than Fatu does.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Rhea Ripley & Iyo Sky (c) vs. Liv Morgan & Roxanne Perez
Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky recently beat The Kabuki Warriors to win the Women’s Tag Team Championship. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez from the Judgment Day have created a very good team recently, but they have a difficult task in front of them with Ripley and Sky. Ripley and Sky are 3-0 in traditional two-on-two tag team matches, and I don’t believe their reign is ending anytime soon.

Singles Match: AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
AJ Styles recently decided to put his career on the line against Gunther at the Royal Rumble. But now, Shinsuke Nakamura has challenged him to a match at tonight’s event. Styles has lost his last two singles matches, with his last victory in a one-on-one match coming in September. This is the ninth singles match between Styles and Nakamura, with eight of them coming in WWE. Two of those matches ended due to a count down or a no contest. Styles has had Nakamura’s number as he is 4-2 against him. In this match, Styles needs to pick up the victory to gain momentum before his match against Gunther last week.
