The NBA has seven games on the scoreboard this Wednesday night, with a West Coast matchup between the Toronto Raptors and the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center as the final game of the night. If you’re looking to round out your Wednesday night of hoops with some player prop bets, check out my top three options from the many available on DraftKings Sportsbook in this contest.
Overall in this matchup, the Raptors are 6.5-point road favorites and the point total is set at 224.5.
The Raptors won Tuesday night over the Warriors, going off for 145 points to improve to 6-4 in their last 10 games and 26-19 on the season. The Kings, on the other hand, lost to the Miami Heat at home on Tuesday for their second straight loss. Sacramento is 12-32 on the season and has the second-worst record in the Western Conference. However, they are 9-15 at home.
Let’s look closer at this matchup and highlight a few strong player prop bets to build around on Wednesday night.
Raptors vs. Kings Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook
Immanuel Quickley over 17.5 points (-108)
Quickley obliterated this point total over/under on Tuesday night, going off for 40 points against Golden State. He shot a sizzling 11-for-13 from the field and 7-of-8 from long range while making all 11 of his free throws.
While another 40-point game isn’t likely, he should be able to get over this very modest point total and score at least 18 points on the second game of the back-to-back. On the season, he’s averaging 16.9 points per game and has averaged 18.0 points in his 21 road games this year.
Quickley has scored at least 17 points in five of his last six games, and he gets a good matchup against the Kings’ very beatable backcourt on Wednesday. You can be more aggressive and take IQ to get to 20 points at +162, but I feel more confident in him getting over this point total at these still-favorable odds on Wednesday night.
Maxime Raynaud 20+ Points + Rebounds + Assists (-103)
The Kings ruled out Domantas Sabonis for the second game of their back-to-back and could also be without Precious Achiuwa (ankle), who is questionable. I like this prop line even if Achiuwa is active, but it would get even more attractive if Achiuwa is sidelined as well.
Raynaud stepped up for the Kings while Sabonis was sidelined earlier this season, and the rookie from France should get more work on Wednesday night against a Raptors frontcourt that will remain without Collin Murray-Boyles and Jakob Poeltl.
Over his last 20 games (all starts), Raynaud has averaged 11.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists for 21.2 PRA (points, rebounds and assists). He has gone over this prop line in half of those games and in 10 of his last 17 without Sabonis. He only played 18 minutes in Tuesday’s loss, but overall, he has been heavily involved and will likely split most of the work at center on Wednesday with Dylan Cardwell, who does good work on the boards but doesn’t offer as much on the offensive end as the young Raynaud.
Dennis Schroder under 9.5 Points (+102)
The Kings were without Schroder for three games after the veteran guard was suspended for “confronting and attempting to strike another player,” and he seems to have a much smaller role in the rotation since his return. Coach Doug Christie is desperately looking for defense, and options like Keon Ellis, Nique Clifford and even Malik Monk seem to be better fits for the overall flow right now.
Schroder had 15 points in 20 minutes in his return last Friday, but that was in a soft matchup against the Wizards. In his two home games against the Trail Blazers and Heat since then, he only had two points in 18 minutes on Sunday, followed by just four points in 19 minutes on Tuesday.
If some other Kings players are ruled out, he could get back into a bigger role, but if everyone is healthy, there may not be enough usage for him to get to double-digit points. He’s played 20 minutes or fewer in four straight games, and he seems to be being phased out until something moves at the trade deadline.
Bonus Parlay Pick: Brandon Ingram over 1.5 3PM (-135)
If you’re building a SGP (Same Game Parlay) to close out the night or adding the picks into an SGPx, you can add in the over on Ingram’s three-point prop to take the parlay to a juicy +1100 as you can see below.
Ingram has averaged 1.8 three-pointers per game on the season, and he has gone over this prop in four straight games and six of his last nine. He’s averaged 2.2 3PM per game in his 21 games without RJ Barrett available, and Barrett was ruled out for a seventh straight game this Wednesday, making this a strong prop to play in a game in which the Raptors should score plenty of points.
