Wednesday is here, which means another jam-packed NBA slate. Five games between ten teams make up this evening’s featured DFS contest. That includes several big names that are sure to garner plenty of attention from managers.
With that being said, high-priced options can only take you so far. Any balanced lineup demands a blend of star power and lesser-known options. Here are three underpriced players to consider tonight in DFS and season-long fantasy formats.

C Mitchell Robinson, New York Knicks vs. BKN ($4,400)
Mitchell Robinson has been a values list favorite all season, and it’s easy to see why. The center has some notable limitations on offense, especially at the charity stripe (37% FT). In addition, he doesn’t garner a ton of minutes in New York’s rotation. Still, the veteran usually makes his presence felt quickly on the court. This year, Robinson is averaging 4.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, 1.2 blocks and 0.8 steals per game (22.0 FPTS). Those aren’t eye-popping numbers, but the big man offers a fairly safe fantasy floor.
In spite of New York’s recent struggles, Robinson has been playing well as of late. In two of his last four appearances, he’s notched at least 34.5 fantasy points. Now, he’ll take the floor for what appears to be an advantageous matchup. The Nets might be short-handed down low, with center Day’Ron Sharpe (illness) listed as questionable. Over his last three meetings with Brooklyn, Robinson has posted 12.0 points, 8.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.7 blocks. Anything that comes close to that stat line would make him a steal tonight. Mitch is worth heavy consideration at his meager $4,400 price tag.
SG Duncan Robinson, Detroit Pistons at NOP ($4,300)
One of the key components behind Detroit’s rise in the Eastern Conference has been Duncan Robinson. The eighth-year pro was nothing but an afterthought last year in Miami. However, he’s bounced back this season, providing much-needed floor spacing for the Pistons. Over 39 games, Robinson has posted 12.1 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists per game (21.6 FPTS). Most important, he’s knocking down 41% of his three-point attempts. It’s no aberration, either; the wing is a career 40% shooter from deep.
Tonight, Detroit has a prime opportunity to put up some crooked numbers. The Pelicans are a disaster, giving up the third-most points (122.2) and second-most three-pointers made (14.8) per game to opponents. In addition, New Orleans has surrendered the second-most fantasy points to shooting guards. Robinson has drained at least four three-pointers in each of his last five outings. A similar showing on Wednesday would provide a major windfall for fantasy managers.
SG/SF/PF Corey Kispert, Atlanta Hawks at MEM ($3,700)
Corey Kispert was an unheralded component of the Trae Young deal earlier this month. The fifth-year pro has spent his entire career in Washington, offering primarily shooting from long distance. Still, this one-trick pony is valuable in today’s NBA. During 24 appearances this season, Kispert has recorded 9.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists (15.9 FPTS). He’s complimented that with stellar 47/37/78 shooting splits. On paper, that’s not nearly enough to qualify as fantasy relevant.
Zaccharie Risacher (knee) has already been ruled out tonight by the Hawks. That opens up more minutes for Atlanta’s reserve wings, led by Kispert. The Gonzaga alum has logged 20+ minutes in three of his previous four contests. Wednesday’s opponents, the Grizzlies, aren’t the most formidable foe. Memphis has allowed the fifth-most three-pointers made (14.3) per game. Given his modest playing time, Kispert is far from a slam-dunk. Still, he’s a worthwhile dart throw at $3,700.
