DraftKings NBA Pick6 Fantasy Basketball Picks Today: Top Picks for 1/21/26

We’ve got seven games on the slate tonight on this fine Wednesday, and we’ll jump right into Pick6. The trade deadline continues to loom closer, and I have a feeling that we’re going to get some big news soon; fingers crossed.

There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!

This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander More than 31.5 Points

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is having another prolific scoring season, averaging 31.8 PPG, which places him second in the league in scoring.

Gilgeous-Alexander is the central engine of Oklahoma City’s offense with a 32% usage rate, and teams rarely have a scheme ready to take him completely out of rhythm. Against the Milwaukee Bucks, whose 20th rated defense allows 115.6 opponent points per game, SGA still projects to create efficiently whether it’s transition buckets or isolations late in the clock.

Milwaukee’s defensive mix has shown vulnerability to quick ball handlers and downhill drives, particularly in pick-and-roll coverages. When you factor in volume and the way OKC structures offense around him, Gilgeous-Alexander has enough usage and scoring avenues to push through 31.5.

Jalen Duren More Than 17.5 Points

Duren is averaging 17.8 PPG this season. The bulk of his attempts come at the rim, and Detroit continues to prioritize him as a primary finisher in both half-court sets and early offense. Over his last seven games, Duren is averaging only 14.9 PPG, but tonight’s matchup is an excellent opportunity for the young star big man to get back on track.

New Orleans has been vulnerable inside, allowing 54.1 PPG in the paint, a bottom-10 mark in the league. Their inability to resist that sort of rim pressure plays directly into Duren’s strengths as a roll man and offensive rebounder who converts efficiently around the basket, especially next to a playmaker of Cade Cunningham’s caliber. Look for Duren to get back on track tonight against one of the worst defenses in the league.

Evan Mobley More Than 4.5 Assists

Evan Mobley’s assist production is volatile; he’s not responsible for generating looks outside the perimeter or within; he’ll find some nice ones occasionally, but is only averaging 4.2 APG this season, which actually seems decently high for a center. But his recent run of assists supports another strong assist night out of Mobley tonight, as he’s been averaging 5.2 APG in his last five games.

The Hornets will make it easy. They are conceding 27.7 opponent APG this season, which is the eighth most in the league. Given Mobley’s recent assist numbers and the matchup tonight, I’m expecting Mobley to dime plenty tonight.
