Tuesday night brings hoops fans a seven-game slate of NBA action on the hardwood. There are three contests in the late slate tonight out on the West Coast, one of which pits the Sacramento Kings against the Miami Heat.
On DraftKings Sportsbook, Minnesota is a strong -13.5 favorite with -700 odds to win on the Moneyline. The game total is set at 238.5 combined points.

Domantas Sabonis under 8.5 rebounds (-117)
My oh my, how the mighty have fallen. Can you imagine telling someone to take under 8.5 boards for Domantas Sabonis just a year ago? Once one of the best rebounders in the world, the Lithuanian has only appeared in 13 games this season while dealing with numerous injuries. He did just make his return two games ago from a multi-month absence to the tune of 13 points and six rebounds in 21 minutes, but followed it up with just eight points and eight boards on Sunday. He played only 20 minutes in the most recent contest, so it seems the veteran may be dealing with a minutes restriction at the moment as he continues to work back into game shape.
If Sabonis keeps operating with a limited workload, he could easily slip below 8.5 rebounds tonight against the Heat. Miami’s REB% sits 2.2 percentage points higher than Sacramento’s does (which is admittedly a bit skewed thanks to Sabonis’ injury woes), but even with the added context, Bam Adebayo and Kel’el Ware average a combined 19.5 rebounds per contest and should prove problematic for their opponents. With the combo of personnel and potential workload of around 20 minutes, the under on Sabonis’ props feels like the right call.
Jaime Jaquez Jr. over 14.5 points (-108)
Another top prop bet for tonight comes not from a star player, but from an underappreciated talent who does the dirty work for this Miami rotation. Jaime Jaquez Jr. does a little bit of everything, averaging 15.7 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.8 assists for the Heat. While he can’t shoot the three-ball particularly well, he’s still hitting at a 52.5% rate from the field overall as well. I really like the over on his points prop tonight for two reasons.
First, Tyler Herro (ribs) remains out, which means the usual share of opportunities for Jaquez. He averages 12.1 FGA per game but doesn’t need a ton of volume to find success thanks to his efficiency. The other reason I’m looking toward over 14.5 points for the UCLA product is that Sacramento doesn’t exactly have a strong defense. In fact, the opposite is true — the Kings are 27th in DEFRTG and allow 120.5 PPG, also fourth-worst in the NBA. Without many (any?) standout talents on the defensive side of the ball, this rotation largely bleeds points and should allow plenty tonight against a Miami squad ranked first in pace.
Jaquez also popped with 27 points last time he faced this same opponent, and he posted 16 points to exceed the line in his other most recent matchup against them (which came in January last year). After going over 14.5 points in 20/38 games this season, he should do it again tonight.
