Miami and Indiana face off in the National Championship Game on Monday night.

National Championship Game Prop Bets
Riley Nowakowski 22+ Receiving Yards (-114)
Indiana is one of the most well-coached college football teams in recent memory. If this team rolls to a national championship with an undefeated record, they will undoubtedly be compared to the other great teams of the past 25 years in the sport. From a pure talent perspective, it’s impossible to put them ahead of an offense of Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, and Justin Jefferson. However, where this team lacks raw talent at certain positions, it more than makes up for it with football IQ. Of course, there are extremely talented players all over this roster, but what makes them such a dominant force is their sheer discipline. One of the players who best exemplifies that trait is tight end Riley Nowakowski.
Nowakowski is fifth down the list on the Hoosiers when it comes to receptions and receiving yards. Still, when a play is falling apart, or the Hoosiers have a key third down, Nowakowski always seems to be in the right place for Fernando Mendoza. When Omar Cooper Jr. and Elijah Sarratt are getting blanketed by double coverage, Nowakowski can find the soft spots up the seam. Particularly against this elite Miami pass rush, Mendoza might need to get the ball out quickly to his tight end.
Against Miami in this CFP, Ole Miss tight end Dae’Quan Wright had 64 receiving yards, Ohio State’s Will Kacmarek tallied 28, and Texas A&M’s Nate Boerkircher logged 33. Nowakowski should be able to match those performances and get at least 22 receiving yards in this game.
CharMar Brown 26+ Rushing Yards (-119)
Miami running back Mark Fletcher Jr. has been fantastic in the College Football Playoff so far, averaging 132 rushing yards across the program’s three playoff games. However, running in the teeth of the Indiana defense has not worked out well for anyone this season. Fletcher will have his role to play in this game, but backup running back CharMar Brown could add a wrinkle to Miami’s plans for the national championship. Brown has proved himself to be a valuable asset in the CFP. He scored a touchdown against Ohio State, then took 14 carries for 54 yards and a score against Ole Miss.
Brown is smaller and shiftier than Fletcher, adding a different dynamic to the Miami offense. He also works well out of the passing game, catching a touchdown in the regular season finale against Pittsburgh. That makes it a three-game scoring streak for Brown heading into the national title game.
Mario Cristobal needs to be bold to upset the Hoosiers in this game, and implementing packages to get Brown the ball in space is a bold move that could pay off. He has rushed for at least 26 yards in both CFP games so far and should get the chance to hit that number again in the biggest game of his life.
