Best D’Andre Swift Prop Bets for Bears vs. Rams on Sunday 1/18/26

D’Andre Swift and Kyle Monangai aren’t quite Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery, but in Ben Johnson’s first season as the Chicago Bears’ head coach, he’s made sure that Swift and Monangai do their best impressions of the Detroit Lions duo. It’s worked: Swift and Monangai combined for 2,333 all-purpose yards during the regular season, helping the Bears earn the second seed in the NFC after finishing 5-12 in 2024.

Chicago will have a huge challenge in its first Divisional Round game since 2010, as it’ll host the Los Angeles Rams for a 4:30 p.m. ET clash at Soldier Field. Though the Rams didn’t win the NFC West, their record was one game better than the Bears’.

Chicago is a 4.5-point underdog for tonight’s matchup at DraftKings Sportsbook, with the point total set to 48.5. Below, I’ve detailed my favorite prop bets centered around Swift.

D’Andre Swift 15+ Receiving Yards (-106)

In both their regular season finale and their Wild Card Round win, the Bears leaned more heavily on Caleb Williams than on their running game. In part, that’s because they trailed late in both games, forcing Williams to throw to keep up, which could be the case again against a strong Los Angeles offense. Though Swift had only 54 rushing yards in the Wild Card Round, he caught both of his targets for 38 yards. All in all, Swift recorded at least 15 receiving yards in seven of his 16 regular-season games and had at least 12 in an additional five. He finished the season with the 21st-highest receiving grade among 54 qualified running backs at Pro Football Focus.

The Rams have a great run defense, allowing the 11th-fewest rushing yards and the third-fewest rushing touchdowns to opposing running backs, but they were more vulnerable to the position through the air. Los Angeles actually allowed the fifth-most receiving yards to running backs, and it wasn’t entirely a matter of volume, as those yards came on just the seventh-most receptions. The Rams also get pressure at the league’s fourth-highest rate, forcing Williams to check it down to one of his running backs. That will benefit Swift much more than it will Monangai, who struggles both as a receiver and in pass protection.

D’Andre Swift U55.5 Rushing Yards (-111)

This goes hand-in-hand with the last prop: if Los Angeles forces Williams to pass the ball and Swift is active as a receiver, he’ll have fewer carries to do damage as a runner. Swift’s trend is clearly negative: he’s recorded 54 or fewer yards in each of his last three games, and in the Wild Card Round, he appeared on the field for his third-lowest percentage of offensive snaps all season. The Rams have the personnel to shut Swift down: he is both most prolific and most efficient running around the right end, but the second-best high-volume run defender in Los Angeles’ front seven, Byron Young, plays on the left side of the defense. His next-most prolific zone is between the center and the right guard, where the Rams’ best front seven run defender, Poona Ford, lines up.
