What happened to Marvin Mims? Live injury updates for Bills vs. Broncos on Saturday 1/17/25

Marvin Mims Jr. suffered a head injury during the opening kickoff of Saturday’s Buffalo Bills vs. Denver Broncos game. Denver brought the wide receiver into its medical tent to evaluate for a concussion.

UPDATE: Mims was cleared to return by the Broncos later in the first quarter.

Through 15 games this season, Mims has recorded 37 catches for 322 receiving yards and a touchdown. Any potential absence would hinder Denver’s special teams, as well. The 23-year-old leads the NFL with 452 punt return yards.

Mims has missed time due to a concussion already this season. The wide receiver sat out for two games back in November.
