What happened to Jake Tonges? Live injury updates for 49ers vs. Seahawks on Saturday 1/17/26

San Francisco tight end Jake Tonges is questionable to return to Saturday’s contest against the Seahawks after suffering an apparent leg injury in the second half.

He limped off the field with 13:30 left in the third quarter following a non-contact injury.

Before his exit, Tonges led the 49ers with five receptions for 59 yards.

San Francisco has been ravaged by injuries, already playing without star tight end George Kittle, who tore his achilles in last week’s Wild Card victory over the Eagles.

Halfway through the third, Seattle leads 27-6.
