The NFL’s Divisional Round continues on Saturday night with an NFC matchup between the San Francisco 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field.
The Seahawks (14–3) enter fresh off capturing the NFC West title, the No. 1 seed, and a first-round bye. They’ll now face a familiar foe in the 49ers (13–5), who advanced past the defending Super Bowl champion Eagles in the Wild Card round.
The squads split their regular-season meetings: San Francisco won in Week 1 while Seattle clinched the division crown in the season finale.
The Seahawks will once again rely on a strong connection between Sam Darnold and his receivers — especially star wideout Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
Kickoff is set for 8 p.m. ET. Seattle enters as a seven-point home favorite, while San Francisco sits as a +275 underdog. The game’s total is set at 45.5 points.

What a turnaround it’s been for the Seahawks. After missing the playoffs for two straight years, they now sit atop the NFC as the No. 1 seed. Seattle’s offense has finally blossomed under second-year head coach Mike Macdonald, thanks in large part to a breakout third season from star receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.
The former first-rounder out of Ohio State hauled in 119 passes for a league-leading 1,793 receiving yards along with 10 touchdowns, firmly staking his claim as the 2025 Offensive Player of the Year. He also topped the century mark in nine games this season — an NFL high.
One such performance came against San Francisco in Week 1, when Smith-Njigba corralled nine passes for 124 yards. He later took six catches for 84 yards against the 49ers in the season finale.
Smith-Njigba, 23, looks poised to carve up the 49ers’ porous pass coverage once again in the Divisional Round. San Francisco allowed the second-most catches in the NFL and ranked inside the league’s bottom ten in opponent receiving yards.
Neither the secondary nor pass rush applied much pressure, as the Niners tied for the second-fewest interceptions (6) while ranking dead-last in sacks (20), resulting in the NFL’s fifth-highest opposing quarterback completion rate (68.2%).
Expect veteran quarterback Sam Darnold, who completed 77% of his passes for 198 yards against the Niners in Week 18, to stay comfortable in the pocket — and connect with JSN for at least 100 yards on Saturday night.
