While Paolo Banchero’s scoring has been inconsistent this season, he’s remained consistently dominant on the glass. The former first overall pick is averaging a career-high 8.8 rebounds per game — the 14th most in the NBA — and is coming off a 13-rebound performance in Thursday’s win against the Grizzlies.
Banchero has pulled down at least nine rebounds in 17 games this season, including four of his last six. Against a depleted Memphis frontcourt without leading rebounder Zach Edey, count on Banchero to control the boards again on Sunday.
Jaren Jackson Jr. Over 24.5 Points + Rebounds (-125)
Although Memphis fumbled a 20-point lead in Thursday’s contest, Jaren Jackson Jr. still managed to shine against the Magic. He led both sides with 30 points and also pulled down three rebounds.
Despite inconsistency on the boards, Jackson regularly exceeds 24.5 combined points and rebounds — typically compensating with lofty point totals. He’s surpassed the threshold in eight of his last 11 games, topping out at 39 points-plus-rebounds against the Wizards on Dec. 28.
