The NFL Playoffs continue this weekend with the Divisional Round. One of the best games on the slate is the matchup between the Broncos and Bills. Currently, Denver is a 1.5-point home favorite on DraftKings Sportsbook with the total set at 45.5.
Here are the betting splits and most popular player prop bets for this all-important Divisional Round matchup.
Betting Splits

The Bills and Broncos face off in what should be one of the best games of the Divisional Round. The Bills already battled hard for one road win in these playoffs; now they face the Broncos, who are fresh off a bye week. Josh Allen finally got his first-ever postseason road win. Now he wants to take down the No. 1 seed and get back to the conference title game. Buffalo leads the NFL in offensive EPA/play this season, but they face a massive test against the Denver defense. The Broncos will look to prove they are the real deal by backing up their great regular season with postseason success.
The betting public is unsurprisingly backing the Bills. Last week, Josh Allen proved why he is such a special player. The Jaguars undoubtedly had the better roster compared to the Bills. However, at the most important position in sports, Josh Allen was a massive upgrade over Trevor Lawrence. The same could be said for these two teams. Denver has a much better defense and the best wide receiver between the two teams, but Josh Allen is a much better quarterback than Josh Allen. That is why 64% of the public and 64% of the handle are on the Bills to win the game. Additionally, 60% of the bets and 61% of the handle are on the Bills to cover the short spread. The betting public is backing Buffalo, and there is no resistance from bigger bettors in the other direction.
When it comes to the total, the public is almost evenly split. At DraftKings Sportsbook, 53% of the bets are on the over 45.5, with 56% of the handle. So, there is a slight edge to the over from both the public and bigger bettors. However, there isn’t much conviction in either group. The Broncos have given up points whenever they face a great offense this season, and the Buffalo defense is not very trustworthy. That is likely what is leading the betting public to lean towards the over.
Most Popular Player Props
Here are the top five most-bet player props for Saturday’s game:
- Josh Allen Anytime TD Scorer (-115)
- James Cook Anytime TD Scorer (-110)
- RJ Harvey Anytime TD Scorer (-125)
- Dalton Kincaid Anytime TD Scorer (+280)
- Courtland Sutton Anytime TD Scorer (+210)
The betting public is once again loving anytime touchdown scorer bets. For the second straight week, Josh Allen and James Cook are the most bet-on players to score a touchdown for the Bills. Last week against the Jaguars, Cook was the most popular player, with Allen ranking second. However, after Josh Allen rushed for two scores against the Jaguars, the public is now leaning more in his direction. Cook failed to score against the Jaguars, but as the NFL’s regular-season rushing touchdown leader, the public is backing him to bounceback and get a touchdown against Denver. The other Bill on the list is tight end Dalton Kincaid, who also scored against the Jaguars.
For the Broncos, the public is betting on rookie running back RJ Harvey and veteran wide receiver Courtland Sutton. Harvey has emerged as the primary running back in Denver down the stretch. The rookie scored six touchdowns in his final six games of the regular season. By far the Bills’ biggest weakness is their run defense, so Harvey should try to exploit that and find the end zone here. Courtland Sutton had seven touchdowns on the season, and in this huge playoff game, Bo Nix should lean on his most experienced target. When these teams met last postseason, Sutton had five catches for 75 yards. He will look to have a similar performance in this game, but with a touchdown added to that stat line.
