It’s time for the Broncos to put their money where their mouth is. The top seed in the AFC will play host to the Buffalo Bills, who trounced them in last year’s Wild Card round. This is the chance for Courtland Sutton and the entire Broncos offense to prove that they can back up the NFL’s best defense with a strong performance.
Here’s a look at my favorite Courtland Sutton prop on DraftKings Sportsbook to consider from this Divisional Round matchup.

Courtland Sutton Under 48.5 Receiving Yards (-110)
A few things are working against Sutton and the Broncos’ pass catchers in this game, primarily Buffalo’s incredible secondary.
No team allowed fewer passing yards during the regular season than the Bills. Their 6.2 yards per pass attempt ranked third in the league, indicating that it wasn’t just a matter of volume. They may not have the big names on the back end, but they know their coverages and how to take away top options. It’s a lot of pressure on Bo Nix and the Broncos’ receiving corps.
One thing working in the Broncos’ favor is Buffalo’s run defense. The Bills are in the bottom five in rushing yards allowed and opponent yards per carry. In six games this season, opposing teams logged more rushing yards than passing yards against the Bills — an astonishing stat in today’s NFL.
Denver has a solid ground game to lean on. RJ Harvey has stepped into the RB1 role as a rookie, and Jaleel McLaughlin has been good in spot duties. Plus, Bo Nix is more than capable of breaking off a run now and then. It hurts not having JK Dobbins around, but they can make up for it. A decent rushing attack going up against a leaky run defense ends up looking like a great run game. When your goal is to keep the ball as far away from Josh Allen as possible, running as much as you can seems to be the right move.
Lastly, I just don’t trust Bo Nix. He’s too inconsistent on a throw-to-throw basis for me to believe in him against Buffalo’s secondary. The volume for Sutton should be reduced first, and efficiency may not be there either. There are just too many red flags to back a productive outing from Sutton against the Bills.
