Tottenham vs. West Ham prediction, pick for Saturday 1/17/26

Matchweek 22 of the Premier League has arrived as West Ham travel to take on Tottenham in a game that sees 14th place take on 18th.

Tottenham are -135 favorites on the moneyline for this one on DraftKings Sportsbook, with a draw available at +290. Fancy a West Ham upset? They are +360 to pick up three points.

Tottenham vs. West Ham Prediction, Pick

Fans are calling this game “El Sackico”. Both managers are under severe pressure to start getting results and turning things around.

Let’s start with Tottenham. They are winless in four straight games in all competitions and sit in 14th position in the league. To say Thomas Frank is on the hot seat would be an understatement. If things don’t turn around quickly, it could be the end of his short tenure. Three points on Saturday feels like a must for Frank at home against one of the worst teams in the league.

Nuno Espírito Santo took over for Graham Potter in late September, but things have not gone to plan. The former Forest, Tottenham and Wolves manager has failed to have any kind of impact at the club in terms of results. The Hammers are seven points away from getting out of the relegation zone, a tall task considering we are already in January. It’s certainly possible they survive, but things need to pick up quickly. If not, the club could decide to cut ties with Santo and bring in somebody else for the last few months in an emergency situation. West Ham have not been in the Championship since 2012, so a relegation to the lower division would be a massive shock to the club and the fanbase.

Tottenham managed a convincing 3-0 road win when these teams last met up in September. In the last five games between these teams, Spurs have won two, drawn two and lost one. The Hammers have failed to win each of their last 10 Premier League games, and I expect them to continue to struggle at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in this one.

The Pick: Tottenham Moneyline (-135)
