What happened to Victor Wembanyama? Live injury updates for Bucks vs. Spurs on Thursday 1/15/26

UPDATE: Wembanyama has returned to the game.

With 9:18 left in the first quarter of Thursday’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, Victor Wembanyama was replaced by Luke Kornet. Wembanyama injured his right knee after Giannis Antetokounmpo collided into him while driving to the basket.

Wembanyama is now in the locker room.

Prior to exiting, Wembanyama contributed one turnover in three minutes of action.

Kornet would soak up most of the center minutes with Wembanyama out while Kelly Olynyk could enter the rotation to back up Kornet.

If Wembanyama is unable to return to the game, he would be eligible for DraftKings Early Exit.
