The Dodgers did it again. They’re reportedly signing Kyle Tucker to a four-year, $240 million contract, according to MLB Network’s Jon Heyman. Tucker joins a superstar lineup featuring Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, and Freddie Freeman, who have won two consecutive World Series titles.

Tucker was an All-Star for the fourth consecutive year in his sole season with the Chicago Cubs. He batted .266 with 22 home runs, 73 RBIs, 91 runs and 25 stolen bases across 136 games and 597 plate appearances.

Even before this move, Los Angeles was a heavy favorite to win a third championship in a row. Immediately after the 2025 World Series, the Dodgers held +370 odds on DraftKings Sportsbook. The Yankees (+750) were the only other team below +1000.

With Tucker a part of this historic roster, the Dodgers improve their 2026 World Series odds to +250 on DraftKings Sportsbook. Here’s a look at the updated odds following this free agency splash.

The Yankees remain as the only team with World Series odds below +1000. The next closest are Mariners and Phillies, both at +1300.

There are plenty more moves to be made in free agency and the trade market, so these are unlikely to be the final odds heading into 2026. That said, a monumental shakeup would need to happen in order for a team to surpass the Dodgers as World Series favorites.
