NBA Best Bets: Top Knicks vs. Kings prop bets for Wednesday 1/14/26

The New York Knicks are second in the Eastern Conference and working hard to break out of a recent slump. They won their last game on Sunday and have taken two of their last three, so perhaps the tides are beginning to turn back toward the bright side here. A game out in sunny California against the Sacramento Kings provides a chance to tack another win onto the record, but the home team has shown an ability to muck things up against good teams in recent weeks.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, New York is a -11.5 favorite with -500 odds to win on the Moneyline. The game total is set at 230.5 combined points.

Here are the top Knicks vs. Kings prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s nightcap.

Best Knicks vs. Kings player prop bets

Russell Westbrook 30+ PRA (-111)

It’s been quite the career for Russell Westbrook, and while the future Hall of Famer’s time in Sacramento certainly won’t be what he’s remembered for in the long run, he’s showing signs of his vintage self as of late. The point guard doesn’t exactly have massive scoring nights anymore, but he’s putting forth all-around production while playing a pretty hefty suite of minutes recently. Over the last six games, Westbrook has eclipsed 30+ PRA in four contests with 16.5 points, 6.2 assists and 6.0 rebounds a night. He’s not taking a high volume of shots but has has some efficient nights of 50% shooting in four of those outings, and it’s easy to see where he gets his numbers — when playing 30-39 minutes this season, he averages 17.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 7.9 assists for a PRA total of 32.8.

The Knicks are a talented team and generally play well on defense with top-10 marks in opponent points, assists and rebounds per game. However, they’re just average against the fast break and Westbrook should garner a large workload again tonight as he has over the last few games with 30+ minutes. As long as he’s on the floor, watch for the guard to produce against a weak defensive backcourt.

Karl-Anthony Towns 14+ rebounds (+197)

This is something of a ladder pick here, especially with a lofty line like 14+ boards. I’m not really scared off of it though, especially given the dominance on the glass Karl-Anthony Towns shows as well as the environment of the matchup here. The star big man’s 11.4 rebounds per game are the second-most of any player in the league, and he’s particularly effective on the defensive glass with the third-most boards on that end per outing. Why does that matter, you may ask? I’ll explain.

The Kings have missed Domantas Sabonis this season while the veteran continues to rehab an injury, leaving Maxime Raynaud as the starting center in his place. Now, the 22-year-old Frenchman’s 6.5 boards per game are impressive enough for a rookie, but he may struggle to match the physicality of Towns under the basket. Plus, Sacramento ranks 29th in total rebounds per game as well as 27th in DREB%. That bodes well for the Knicks’ big man, and while 12+ boards is the safe pick at -115 odds, I’d rather push for better value instead at almost +200. Towns has recorded 14 boards on nine occasions and could be primed to do it again tonight.
