What happened to Nico Collins? Live injury updates for Texans vs. Steelers on Monday 1/12/26

UPDATE: Nico Collins will not return.

With 1:29 left in the third quarter of Monday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Nico Collins landed on his helmet after attempting to haul in a pass over the middle of the field.

Collins was carted off the field and is being evaluated for a concussion.

Prior to exiting, Collins caught three of seven targets for 21 yards.

With Collins out, Jayden Higgins and Xavier Hutchinson will line up outside while Christian Kirk continues to wreak havoc out of the slot. Kirk is leading the Texans with seven receptions for 111 yards and a touchdown.
