We’re down to eight, folks. After the Texans defeated the Steelers on Monday Night, our Divisional Round is set. It’s time to take a look at the updated Super Bowl winner odds. Here’s how the field shakes out on DraftKings Sportsbook:
The Seahawks lead the field at +270 with their first game out of the bye coming up on Saturday. They get to see some familiar faces, getting a rematch with the 49ers after a Week 18 win that handed Seattle the division crown and the top seed. With San Francisco even more beat up with injuries after losing George Kittle to a torn Achilles, Seattle has to like their chances to advance.
Behind them is another NFC West team. The Rams are +320 despite a close win over the Panthers, and they’ll go on the road once again to face the Chicago Bears, who are currently seventh in odds despite being the No. 2 seed in the NFC. Our oddsmakers don’t believe in Caleb Williams magic, it seems.
Then we get into a quartet of AFC teams. The Patriots lead the AFC field after a convincing win over the Chargers, and will face off with the Texans, sixth in odds and fresh off a win over the gritty Steelers. They’re followed by the Bills, who travel to face the top-seeded Broncos in a rematch of last year’s Wild Card game. Denver, despite having a top defense and the No. 1 seed, is third in odds out of the four AFC teams. It speaks to how even this field is.
San Francisco rounds out the field with the longest odds to win the Super Bowl at +2000. But despite an absurd amount of crucial injuries and major defensive struggles, they found a way to knock off the defending Super Bowl champs, and have already beaten all three teams remaining in the NFC field during the regular season. With how wild this year has been, who knows?
