Boston sits middle of the pack in defensive rating (114.5) and has allowed 110.3 PPG over its last three games, while Siakam’s ability to score from the mid-post and attack smaller defenders gives him a steady diet of high-percentage looks. The number is modest for his current role, and with public support behind him, 25+ is a bet worth taking.
Sam Merrill 12+ Points (-163): Merrill is in the midst of the best season of his career, averaging 14.3 PPG — nearly double last year’s mark — and he’s taken it up another level recently with 18.4 PPG over his last five, including back-to-back 20-point games. He’s cleared 12+ in seven of his last 10 outings and now draws a soft home matchup against a Utah team on a four-game road skid and ranking dead last in defensive rating (122.0). Merrill’s high-volume three-point role fits perfectly against a Jazz defense that struggles to close out on shooters, making 12+ points a comfortable number to clear tonight.
