NBA Best Bets: Hornets vs. Clippers Prop Bets for Monday 1/12/26

The latest of the six games on the NBA schedule for Monday night is a fun matchup between the Charlotte Hornets and the Los Angeles Clippers, which tips off at 10:30 p.m. EST at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood. Let’s take a closer look at some player prop bets to consider from this Western Conference matchup to close out the night.

On DraftKings Sportsbook, the Clippers are 4.5-point home favorites with the point total set at 223.5.

The two teams have similar records coming into the matchup with the Clippers at 15-23 while the Hornets are 14-25. The Hornets crushed the Jazz 150-95 on Saturday in their most recent game and have won their last three road games over the Bulls, Thunder and Jazz. They did lose two home games to the Raptors and Pacers during that span, though.  The Clippers have won nine of their last 11 games and just beat the Nets and Pistons on both halves of a back-to-back set on Friday and Saturday.

Both teams have had their struggles this season but have shown reasons for optimism lately. Let’s look at a few of the players who have strong trends in their props for Monday night.

Hornets vs. Clippers Best Prop Bets on DraftKings Sportsbook

James Harden under 4.5 rebounds (+117)

With Kawhi Leonard (ankle) questionable, the Clippers’ rotation is a little shaky for this matchup, which makes them a tricky side to pick props from. However, this under on Harden’s rebounds is a strong option to consider.

Even though he averages 4.8 rebounds on the season and is coming off seven rebounds in his last game, he had four rebounds or fewer (under this prop line) in 11 straight games before Saturday’s extra work on the glass.

He has been under this prop line in 12 of his last 14 games. Getting it at plus money feels like a strong option to start your card with on Monday night, even though if Kawhi is out, it could be more of a Harden game (at least in scoring categories).

Kon Knueppel over 26.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists (-126)

On the other side of the matchup, Knueppel has been a consistent contributor for the Hornets and averages 27.8 PRA (points, rebounds and assists) on the season. He only had 18 PRA in the team’s blowout win over the Jazz, but he went over this prop line in four of his six games before that.

Knueppel had an impressive 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in the team’s road win over the Thunder in one of those four games, and he also had 33 PRA in a road loss to the Bucks.

The rookie has proven he can consistently carry the load and has been better on the road (21.5 points, 4.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists for 29.8 PRA) than at home this season.

Brandon Miller 20+ points (+104)

Miller has picked up more of the scoring load lately, and getting this at plus money is good value after he had two explainable down games. He was ejected after just 19 minutes against the Pacers, finishing with six points, and he had 18 points in 22 minutes before things got too lopsided in Utah.

Before that, though, Miller averaged 23.0 points per game over 11 games, going over this prop line in eight of those contests. He had a pair of 30-point games against the Bucks and Warriors during that span and has been one of the team’s top scorers when the Hornets are buzzing at their best.

He should be fresh and ready to go for this matchup after his lighter workload and if he’s back to 30+ minutes, he should have a great chance to get 20+ points.

Bonus Parlay Pick: John Collins over 1.5 3PM (+123)

If you really want to spice up your parlay and swing for the fences out West, add in this Collins 3PM over to take your parlay to +1400 as you can see below.

Collins has multiple 3PM in nine of his last 10 games and is coming off five 3PM against the Pistons. He could get even more scoring workl if Kawhi is out, so getting this high-risk plus-money prop as part of a spicy Same Game Parlay (SGP) or as part of an SPGx is a fun way to close out the night.
