Best Justin Herbert Prop Bets
After a hot start to 2025, Herbert cooled off a bit in the second half of the season. He played well enough to earn a playoff spot, but fell into the No. 7 seed. This marks the second straight season of making the playoffs.
Last year ended in a 32-12 Wild Card loss to the Texans. The Chargers are hoping for a different result this year. That said, the matchup is rather difficult: the 14-3 Patriots.
New England boasts a top five offense and top 10 defense, creating a balanced approach on both sides of the ball. The one weakness—if you call it that—would be the Patriots’ pass defense. It’s the weakest link of their defense, but it still allows the ninth fewest passing yards and 14th fewest passing touchdowns. On the bright side, the Patriots’ defense ranks 18th in interceptions.
That’s something Herbert has struggled with this season. He finished with the fourth most this season (13), behind Geno Smith, Tua Tagovailoa and Sam Darnold. Herbert has thrown at least one interception in 11 of his 16 games this year. That also includes five of his last six games.
Although New England isn’t the best at intercepting passes, it’s still likely that Herbert struggles to put up yards. This is a great defensive unit, which will keep Herbert below 224.5 passing yards.
