It’s a star quarterback showdown to start our Wild Card Sunday slate. Trevor Lawrence and the surprisingly elite Jaguars welcome Josh Allen and the Bills to Duval County for a heavyweight bout at EverBank Stadium. All eyes are on T-Law as he tries to prove himself in the playoffs, and that means a hot player prop market.
Here’s a look at my favorite Trevor Lawrence prop on DraftKings Sportsbook to consider from this contest.

Trevor Lawrence Under 239.5 Passing Yards (-113)
A few things are working against a great Trevor Lawrence passing performance here. First and foremost is this Buffalo secondary, which has been stellar all season long. Buffalo allowed the fewest total passing yards of all 32 NFL teams during the regular season, and allowed the fourth-fewest yards per pass attempt (6.2). Jaguars head coach and play-caller Liam Coen is surely aware of this and knows he must find ways to work around this secondary.
Fortunately for the Jaguars, Buffalo’s run defense has more holes than Swiss cheese. The Bills are 28th in rush yards allowed and 30th in opponent yards carry (5.1). The Jaguars didn’t have a prolific rushing attack this season, but they can make you pay on the ground. Travis Etienne ran for 1,107 yards this season on a respectable 4.3 yards per carry, and he should get heavy usage. Rookie Bhayshul Tuten has performed well in spot duties. Lawrence, himself, has been one of the best running quarterbacks in the league this season.
Jacksonville doesn’t have to lean on the pass to move the ball. They’ll attack early and often with the run game, and I doubt the Bills will have much of an answer for their ground game. Lawrence may not have a lot of passing volume on his shoulders in this one and almost certainly needs 35-plus pass attempts to crack his passing yards total. Don’t expect the volume to be there.
