NFL Wild Card Weekend kicks off with the Rams at Panthers on Saturday, Jan. 10.
Los Angeles is a 10-point favorite and -550 on the moneyline, while Carolina is +410 on DraftKings Sportsbook. The game total is set at 45.5 points.
Here are my top Kyren Williams prop bets for the Rams at Panthers Wild Card Weekend matchup on Saturday.
Best Kyren Williams Prop Bets
Kyren Williams is an integral part of the well-oiled machine that is the Rams offense. Matthew Stafford is the favorite to win the NFL MVP, Puka Nacua is a first-team All-Pro wide receiver and Davante Adams led the NFL in receiving touchdowns. This is the league’s best passing offense by a decent margin. However, all of that would not work as smoothly without a real rushing threat that opposing defenses need to respect. Kyren Williams ranked sixth in the NFL in rushing this season and added 10 touchdowns on the ground. In each of the last three seasons, Williams has rushed for at least 1,100 yards and 10 touchdowns. That is incredible consistency from the running back position.
Williams has also performed well in the postseason for the Rams. Last postseason, he had 92 scrimmage yards and a touchdown in a win over the Vikings, and he rushed for 106 yards in the Divisional Round loss to the Eagles. Combining the regular season and postseason numbers, only Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley and James Cook have more rushing yards than Kyren Williams since the start of the 2023-24 season. He should be in for a big game against the Panthers. As 10-point favorites, there is a chance that the Rams take a big lead in this game and run the ball most of the second half. That would be an ideal game script for Williams, but he should perform no matter how the game goes.
My favorite prop bet for this game is on Williams to rush for over 70.5 yards. Williams went over this number in the regular season matchup between these teams, despite the Rams having to play from behind after some early turnovers. If Williams can get over that number in a trailing game script, he definitely should be able to in a leading game script. The Rams have such a dangerous passing attack that the Carolina defense has no choice but to keep safeties and linebackers deep. That should allow Williams to move the ball efficiently on the ground. He cleared this number in both postseason games last year and should do so in this one as well.
