With the Rams and Panthers set to duel before a featured showdown between the Packers and Bears, we’re taking a look at the top value picks on the market for this edition of King of the End Zone. Walk with us while we outline some strategies for the first day of Wild Card Weekend.
King of the End Zone value picks for Saturday 1/10/26
There are three basic considerations for King of the End Zone: the player’s likelihood of scoring a touchdown, the player’s likelihood of scoring a long touchdown, and how many other DraftKings users may have chosen that player. Long story short, you want someone with a decent shot to score from an extended distance, but if you’re hunting for a big payout of bonus bets, look for plays that are less chalky. That’s where these values come in.
Simply opt in and use the KOTEZ token on a single bet of at least $5 in a touchdown market — if that player scores the longest touchdown between Saturday’s two games, you win a share of $3 million in bonus bets.
Jayden Reed (+230 Anytime TD)
Possibly my favorite value pick of this King of the End Zone slate, Jayden Reed brings plenty of promise. At +230 odds to score an anytime touchdown, he’s not exactly a chalky play because of his recent form. Reed missed most of the season with a broken collarbone suffered in the early weeks and just returned at the start of December, and his stat lines haven’t looked like anything particularly special since. He’s caught four, five, three and four passes in his last four games for yardage totals of 31, 55, 35 and 41. No, he hasn’t scored a touchdown over that span, but he does average 10.9 yards per reception this season and has been known to make an impact as a deep threat in the past — just last season, Reed averaged 15.6 yards per catch. He also scored 14 touchdowns across his first two professional campaigns, so we’ve seen him hit paydirt plenty of times before.
With typical snap shares in the 50% to 60% range, there’s certainly upside here. The Bears gave up 61 passes of 20+ yards (second-most in the NFL) as well as 13 passing touchdowns on those plays (tied for the most of any team). We’re looking at an excellent play.
Jalen Coker (+310 Anytime TD)
To be clear, the Panthers probably won’t score a ton on Saturday against a very strong Rams defense. Carolina only posted 2.1 TDs per game this season, 26th in the NFL, and Los Angeles gave up just 2.2 per contest, good for eighth-fewest. However, Bryce Young and Co. managed to put up 31 points last time these teams squared off and aren’t likely to get shut out entirely. Tetairoa McMillan and Rico Dowdle will likely see most of the picks for King of the End Zone, which means we look a little further down for value. With much of the Rams’ secondary likely to focus on McMillan in coverage, WR2 Jalen Coker could potentially pop in this game. The wideout scored a long TD of 33 yards in the first matchup against this L.A. team, and again, he won’t see the brunt of the defensive backs in this one. With game script likely to keep the Panthers throwing throughout the contest, there’s some value here for Coker.
Bears D/ST (+500 Anytime TD)
There’s a little more risk involved here than with a traditional King of the End Zone pick, but we also have a ton of upside with the Bears’ defense and special teams units. There were multiple occasions on which a D/ST won a KOTEZ promotion during the regular season, so we’ve seen it happen pretty recently. If any D/ST group has a chance to take the honor home, it’s this Chicago unit. No team racked up more takeaways than the Bears this season — their 1.8 takeaways per game lead the NFL and certainly pace the other teams in the postseason field. It seemed that every time this team was about to lose a game or even just needed a big stop, someone made magic happen and came up with the ball. The Bears scored two defensive touchdowns with a league-best 23 interceptions and recovered 10 of the 12 fumbles they forced. That level of disruption could make Chicago’s D/ST one of the best value picks available, especially since few people are likely to pick it for this promo.
