Yesterday’s short slate was cut even shorter by an issue with court condensation in the United Center, where the Bulls were supposed to host the Heat. But besides that, it was just regular programming. Tonight’s slate is larger with 20 teams in action. We’re tipping off with a dreary battle between two lackluster teams: the Pelicans and Wizards start at 7 PM EST, and the Bucks will visit the Lakers at 10:30 PM EST. James Harden gets to visit his former Nets at 7:30 PM EST.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved in the action this evening. One of the more unique features on DraftKings this year is Pick6 Fantasy Basketball!
This article will look at my top Pick6 plays for tonight’s slate. We simply choose whether a player will record more or less of the set statistic. Here are my favorite plays for tonight’s action.
Luka Doncic More than 31.5 Points
We’ll get a bit of a discount on Doncic tonight, as we see his line get slashed to 31.5 points, in which I expect more. Doncic has been a premier force in fantasy basketball this season and is still leading the league in PPG, clocking in at 33.7. He’s fresh off a big 38 point, ten rebound, ten assist triple double in a loss against the Spurs.
He’ll be on this type of scoring pace all year, with or without Austin Reaves. His playstyle, while controversial for some, is heliocentric and he will consistently average some of the highest usage on his teams throughout the rest of his career. LeBron James has recently said that the Lakers have to learn how to “bend” around Doncic’s game, which confirms what we already know: Doncic has the perpetual green light and for good reason.

Jamal Murray More Than 9.5 Assists
He’s listed as probable, so Murray will likely suit up after dropping a massive 22 point, 17 assist double double last game in a win against the Celtics with only two turnovers. Murray’s having a career year. He’s averaging career-highs in PPG (25.3), APG (7.5), RPG (4.7), 3P% (.443), and FGM (9).
Atlanta has had a middling defense all season, and Murray’s vital to the Nuggets’ offense without Nikola Jokic. He’ll continue serving as their primary playmaker tonight and should get a ton of usage.

Cam Spencer Less Than 14.5 Points
Cam Spencer is doing a good job stepping in for the oft injured Ja Morant this season, but tonight’s 14.5 point line is inflated by his two recent games in which he scored double figures in both. But tonight’s not a normal game, tonight’s an OKC game. Spencer should struggle against the league’s best defense and it’s difficult to envision him getting More than 14.5 points tonight.
