And so there were four. The College Football Playoff chugs along with a Fiesta Bowl clash between Miami and Ole Miss. Both programs took down a powerhouse last week, with wins over Ohio State and Georgia respectively. Now, these two postseason surprises are just one victory away from a National Championship appearance.

Miami vs. Ole Miss best prop bets
Mark Fletcher Jr. 90+ rushing yards (-114)
During the regular season, Miami’s backfield was somewhat uncertain. A combination of Mark Fletcher Jr., CharMar Brown, and Girard Pringle Jr. all handled touches for the Hurricanes. However, the former has re-established his status as the team’s RB1 this postseason. Over his last two games, Fletcher Jr. has gained 162 rushing yards and a touchdown. That includes an impressive 90-yard performance last week vs. a terrific Ohio State defense.
There’s a decent chance Fletcher Jr. can replicate that stat line this evening. Ole Miss is a quality defense, but its strength is in the secondary. Up front, the Rebels have been more vulnerable against the run. Mississippi is giving up 4.2 yards per rush attempt, third-worst in the SEC. Last week, Georgia churned out 124 total rushing yards. Miami’s offensive line might be an improvement compared to the Bulldogs. That bodes well for Fletcher Jr.’s chances in the Fiesta Bowl.
De’Zhaun Stribling 5+ receptions (-108)
Few players boosted their NFL Draft stock more than Trinidad Chambliss last week. The Ole Miss quarterback was the star of the Sugar Bowl, lighting up Georgia en route to 362 passing yards and two touchdowns. Key to that spectacular effort was the play of his top target, De’Zhaun Stribling. The wide receiver has been terrific all season, recording 50 catches for 764 yards and seven TDs. He lit up the Bulldogs with seven receptions for 122 yards.
Stribling might not be quite as prolific tonight against a quality Canes defense. Regardless, he remains an essential part of Ole Miss’s offense. The senior has snagged at least five receptions in three of his previous five outings. Miami’s defense is stacked at nearly all levels. However, The U specializes at stopping the run. That might force the Rebels to lean on Chambliss once again. In a potentially pass-friendly game plan, Stribling is poised for another standout performance.
