UPDATE: Scottie Barnes has returned to Wednesday’s game.

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes suffered an apparent injury during Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets.

With about 10 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Barnes limped off the floor and to the locker room. Details are scarce at this moment and he does not yet have an official injury designation.

Barnes played 28 minutes, scoring 17 points with four rebounds, a steal and a block. He shot 6-for-13 on his field goal attempts and 0-2 from three-point range.

Earlier in the game, Raptors teammate Brandon Ingram exited with a thumb injury and was ruled out shortly after. If Barnes doesn’t return, Toronto will be down two starters to finish things out in Charlotte.

In the event Barnes misses time, it would mark a significant blow to the Raptors’ immediate outlook. The former All-Star averages 19.1 points, 8.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists with 2.9 combined stocks. He plays an integral all-around role for this Toronto squad with contributions in just about every stat category.

Toronto holds a 22-15 record prior to the conclusion of Wednesday’s game vs. the Hornets.
