UPDATE: Ingram will not return to Wednesday’s game.
With 5:58 left in the second quarter of Wednesday’s game against the Charlotte Hornets, Brandon Ingram was replaced by Jamal Shead. The Raptors broadcast mentioned that Ingram took a few falls earlier in the game and he is now in the locker room with an undisclosed injury.
Prior to exiting, Ingram contributed six points, two assists and three blocks in 11 minutes of action.
Ingram has been a bastion of health this season, starting all 38 games, but he has a history of injuries causing him to miss time. Since his rookie season when he appeared in 79 games, Ingram has not played more than 64 games in any campaign and played more than 60 only two other times.
