Best NBA player prop bets for Wednesday 1/7/26

Plenty of hoops are on tap for tonight, with 24 different teams taking the court. Wednesday’s 12-game slate is loaded with can’t-miss matchups, the kind of stuff basketball fans dream about. The shorthanded Nuggets visit the Celtics, while the slumping Knicks host the surging Clippers. Later, Victor Wembanyama’s Spurs battle Luka Doncic’s Lakers. Elsewhere, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks take on the Warriors.

With so many games, who should bettors back ahead of tonight’s action? Here are my three favorite NBA player prop bet picks on DraftKings Sportsbook for Wednesday’s contests.

Top NBA prop bet picks

Immanuel Quickley 7+ assists (+123)

The Raptors have come back down to Earth following a terrific first few weeks. Still, this team is still sitting at fourth in the East, well on their way to a playoff berth. That’s been made possible by an impressive collection of young talent. Scottie Barnes and Brandon Ingram get most of the attention, but don’t sleep on Immanuel Quickley. The guard missed most of last season due to injury; the 2025-26 campaign has been a welcome return to form. Through 36 games, he’s averaging 16.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 6.2 assists.

That last statistic, on a team that doesn’t have a ton of distributors, stands out. Barnes and Jamal Shead are the only other Raptors players dishing out more than five dimes per game. Quickley has been a passing machine recently, recording seven or more assists in six of his last ten appearances. There’s a decent chance that continues tonight against a lackluster Hornets defense. Charlotte has surrendered 28.6 assists per game this season, fourth-worst in the NBA. Toronto’s underrated ball handler is poised for a terrific showing on Wednesday evening.

OG Anunoby 22+ points + rebounds + assists (-124)

It’s been a rough few weeks for the Knicks, losers of four straight. OG Anunoby’s poor play has been a major reason for this recent slump. Over his last ten games, the forward has posted 13.4 points on dismal 37% shooting from the field. Granted, the veteran’s elite defense makes him a must-start for New York. Still, better play on the other end of the floor is a reasonable expectation. Monday’s five-point performance in Detroit did little to ease any concerns.

Part of the pressure on OG is the continued absence of Josh Hart (ankle). Without their jack of all trades, the Knicks are quite thin on the wings. That means even more minutes than usual for Anunoby and Mikal Bridges. Still, Wednesday’s 22+ points + rebounds + assists total feels a bit low. The Clippers are playing much better basketball as of late. Still, they are still a far cry from some of the association’s elite defensive units. Los Angeles has a 118.2 defensive rating, ninth-worst in the NBA. Anunoby has reached this PRA mark in 15 of his 26 outings this season. Keeping that in mind, he should find a way to deliver tonight at Madison Square Garden.

Donovan Clingan under 10.5 rebounds (+102)

The continued growth of Donovan Clingan has been a welcome development for the Trail Blazers. In year two, the UConn alum has seized control of the starting center job in Portland. Over 33 games, he’s accounted for 11.2 points, 10.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks while shooting 55% from the field. The defensive specialist is at his best on the glass. That’s crucial for the Blazers, who are without Jerami Grant (Achilles). It’s no coincidence that Clingan’s numbers have improved during the power forward’s absence.

In almost every matchup, Clingan is a walking double-double threat. Key word almost. Wednesday presents a unique challenge, even for Portland’s 7’2″ giant. The Rockets wield plenty of height down low, even with Alperen Sengun (ankle) injured. If anything, the center duo of Steven Adams and Clint Capela provides even better rebounding. In addition, they play at a deliberate pace on offense, limiting possessions for both sides. Unsurprisingly, Houston has allowed an NBA-low 47.9 rebounds per game to opponents this season. When these teams last met on November 14th, Clingan only hauled in eight boards. Don’t be shocked if the 21-year-old falls short once again this evening.
