Cooper Flagg and company are looking to bounce back after losing four of their last five games. Dallas will attempt to continue its winning ways on Tuesday vs. the Kings (8-28). Sacramento, despite its struggles, will hope to earn a win in front of its home fans.

A healthy Anthony Davis has made a notable difference, giving Dallas someone to take the pressure off of their prized rookie.
Flagg has scored 15 points or less in each of his last three outings. Still, I’d view that as nothing more than a temporary setback. The Duke alum is poised for another monster performance against one of the NBA’s worst defenses. Sacramento is coughing up 122.3 points per game to opponents, fourth-worst in basketball. When these teams last met on December 27th, Flagg dropped 23 points on seven of 13 shooting from the field. There’s nothing to suggest that the wing can’t do even more damage tonight vs. the Kings.

There’s almost nothing on Sacramento’s roster that appeals to the average NBA fan. If there’s any reason to tune in, seeing Russell Westbrook in action still means something. The future Hall of Famer is the ultimate wildcard, capable of brilliance or disaster on any given play. Regardless, the guard has a knack for putting up counting stats. Through 36 games, he’s averaging 14.6 points, 6.6 rebounds and 6.9 assists per game. Those numbers, despite middling efficiency (42% FG), make Westbrook a bettor-friendly option in most matchups.
The sub-.500 Mavericks have been mediocre at best on defense. No matter where you look, this group has underperformed on that end of the floor. Dallas has surrendered the 11th-most points (117.5) and second-most rebounds (57.4) per game to opponents. Westbrook has notched at least 28 points + rebounds + assists in five of his previous eight appearances. That includes the aforementioned December 27th meeting between these two clubs. On a Kings squad that loves pushing the pace, expect another stuffed stat line from Brodie.
