Tonight at 7:00 p.m. ET, the reigning National Champions, the Florida Gators, are hosting the Georgia Bulldogs. Georgia is currently ranked No. 18 while Florida is unranked. The Bulldogs have begun their season 13-1 and are coming off a 104-100 victory over Auburn. Florida has a 9-5 record and is coming off a loss to Missouri on Saturday.

Georgia vs. Florida (7:00 p.m. ET)

Florida has a 126-102 all-time series lead over Georgia. Georgia won the last meeting between the two, but Florida was on a 12-game winning streak before that. The last time Georgia beat Florida in Gainesville was in March 2019.

Even though Florida has four more losses, it remains the favorite and is the higher-ranked team on KenPom. Florida is No. 15 while Georgia is No. 26 on KenPom. The Gators have the 11th-best defensive rating and 34th-best offensive rating. While the Bulldogs’ offensive rating is 20th, their defensive rating is 45th.

Georgia has an elite offense as they average the most points per game in the country with 99.4. The Bulldogs have four players in double-digit points, with Jeremiah Wilkinson leading the way with 18.3 points. Georgia’s next two top scorers are Blue Cain (15.6 PPG) and Marcus Millender (11.6 PPG).

An elite frontcourt duo leads Florida with Thomas Haugh and Alex Condon. Xaivian Lee and Boogie Fland make up the Gators’ starting backcourt. This game features an elite guard matchup between Cain and Millender vs. Lee and Fland.

Florida is 4-3 in their previous seven games and has struggled against teams from a major conference. Georgia’s lone loss was by three points on November 23 against Clemson. If Georgia can slow down Florida’s frontcourt, it should have a chance to win this game if it can outperform the Bulldogs’ backcourt. Getting Georgia to cover the +9.5 spread is an excellent value play, considering they have won seven straight games while possessing an elite offense.
